Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fun weekend and enjoyed watching the Oscars last night. Over the weekend I took a day trip to Jersey with my two friends Anthony and Mac, despite their tardy behavior, we had a fun girls day out of the city. We packed our outfits and left the city to shoot three looks, eat some delicious home cooked food, and attend my friends cousins birthday party. While cruising around my friends hometown, we came across this park that was perfect for an outdoor overalls story. Overalls have been trending for some time now, and I think they’re a piece that’s so versatile everyone should have at least one pair. I’ve worn mine from a halloween costume as Luigi, to a plaid situation, and now a bit more grungy Ramones look. An outfit that can go from the outdoors to the city streets.
TGIF! Last Sunday was such a tease, the weather was actually above 40 and it felt like there was going to be a break in the winter weather. Though it was only a rare taste of what is to come another month from now, I couldn’t help myself from wearing the bare minimums. I had been waiting patiently to wear my baseball t without a large coat situation for far too long! Even though it was only one day, I can keep wishing for warmer days to come!
Finally the weather is clearing up in Brooklyn. So happy to not be wearing boots anymore and put on my Nike P-Rod’s #nike #nikesb #Rodriguez #pualrodriguez #HICKIESlaces #HICKIES #MTA #brookln (at MTA Subway - Bedford Ave (L))
Spread love it’s the Brooklyn way
Hanging out at @thecottoncandymachine planning out our next photo shoot. Love the paintings by @amarstewart

The stress has continued to run high and the days are still longer than ever. While managing a double personality during fashion week as Alicia’s assistant and helping produce for a couple of shows, to then attend menswear collections on my sparse free time. I have also currently come down with a mild cold, and can not wait for a full nights rest of more than 5 hours. Even though every-season I already know it’ll be hectic, preparing for 7 long days is hard. Though some of the highlights so far have been Menswear day at Milk, backstage access to DVF, J Crew, and getting to see the round table at Lincoln Center inside the tents. It has also been great running into so many friends, and luckily have them take my photos when I can get a moment to myself. Such as today, I got my talented photographer friend to snap possibly one of my more polished looks than I’m used to, but quite honestly loved every piece of it. Especially the floral to camouflage combination. A trend I’ve been very fond of this season. T - 1 more day till the chaos is over (and I get sleep)!
Yesterday before yet another snowstorm hit the city, I had my first day of fashion week to myself. A real treat to attend one of my favorite collections of the season, Jeremy Scott. Plus I was able to join my Tumblr friends for an incredible Diesel x Tumblr pizza hunt to end the last day of Made Fashion Week. Both had their own perks, but the real treat was my casual outfit and snapback situation (yes, another floral piece). Not until this week had I noticed how many floral pieces I really have (#trending). A subtle reminder of summer days not so far away, and yet another fashion week survived.
